Barn and Bridge Drawings

I revisited the bridge and the barn where I put my watercolor paper. Under the bridge two pieces have gone missing completely and one blew off the wall onto the ground.

To record this change I decided to sprinkle powdered graphite on the paper. This in itself will be acted on by the elements over the next few weeks.

I also returned to the barn to find much of the paper blown off the wall.

I wanted to record these changes somehow through drawing also so I used some powdered limestone I found on the floor.

I went to the smaller back barn which may be in even worse shape and found more torn and blown down paper.

I covered this piece with powdered graphite.

I am sure this bad winter weather will have some nice results in the coming weeks.
